The older I get the more I appreciate subtlety. I don't mean delicate brush strokes on a photorealistic water color, but rather the subtlety of a single brush stroke evoking movement. I also enjoy thinking about what an artist was seeing when they chose their brush stroke. Enjoyed your post!
